Left: Some of our kids on Easter Sunday, March 2000 in our front yard. Dorothy, 26 and Doug, 19, are in the back row. From the left, in front, are: Rita, 5, Marc, 7, Roger, 4, and Sandy, 2 1/2. Our yard is in full bloom, especially with Rhodadendron's. Right: Dorothy and her friend, Doug, at Dorothy's graduation. I think this is when she received her BA degree in Elementary Education. Later, she earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. She went through an intensive, 10 month program, and still owes a ton of money!! This year, 2000/2001 she will be teaching her fourth year, a second grade class which is about 1/2 bi-lingual. |

Left: Rita, was able to shut her eyes, but couldn't quite straighten all her fingers out at the same time.
Right: Roger tried so hard, but he just had to peek to see what was going on in the room. |

Right: This is one of the most, if not the only, most loving, most patient, and most wonderful husband in the world!! He is holding our daughter, Sandy, when she was about 5 months old. She was still in foster care...we had weekly visitation times so that the transition to our home would be easier. |

Left: My three little ones, are really little. They love to empty the toy shelf, and lay down. Don't worry, the shelves don't tip over, ha, ha. But, you can imagine what the room looks like at the end of each day...toys everywhere!! We have found that it helps not to have too many toys and books in their rooms. So, we keep most of those things in our huge rec. room.
Center: Halloween, 1997. Marc/Batman, 4; Rita/Ballerina, almost 3; and Roger/Tiger baby, almost 2 (he never did let go of the bottle, even when he held out his bag for candy). |
