I always feel uncomfortable asking for anything, but many people have asked what they can do, even if it is a small thing. So, I decided to write out some things that are a bit more difficult for us to do (due to not having enough time, or expertise, or money).
Our 2nd clothes washer is broken. A repairman fixed it, and it was expensive, for us. Then, when he tried it out, it still didn't work. He then said it needed another part, an expensive part. I could not afford it. All I could do was to softly say, "I cannot afford that." Then I turned away, with tears, and walked out of the room. It has now been 3 months with only one washer for 15 people!!
WOW. Some one donated a brand new clothes washer, and it was delivered yesterday, June 29, 2007!!! Thank you to whomever gave it to us!! We can't believe someone cared about us so much.
